can/would someone help me??

'klutzycompy'..which rather says it all.
or alice,if you insist.
Try CKD's note bed. There are 15 in one and they save contents via cookies for six months. I've used it for over three years, or is that four? Hmmm. http://tvckd.virtualave.net/nb1/
P.S. You can delete your own posts through the edit button option at the top of them.

It's not that i need to find one...the one i gave as an example in my post was perfect as far as i am concerned,i just want to make my own.
i went to a site 'how'd you do that?' and got the language and how it is made, but i can't just go with webtv and make one,can i??just by typing in the same things..i am sure it is not HTML...i guess i should ask cyberjunkie, but i have not been able to reach him..i guess i will try again.

The cookied notepad itself is javascript placed on an HTML page for functionality.
There are a number of them available in the MSNtv community, some of them here at the Zone. Larry used to have one in his Zone account that he made a while ago (either before the Zone or shortly after), but he doesn't have it in his account anymore. :(
If I can find a copy of it on our PC's somewhere, I'll put it in my account, and you can just beam a copy of it into your Zone account for your own use.

Thank you,Kari..i will keep my 'eyes peeled' zoneward..just incase you find one..Your instructions to 'beam' such a page (SHOULD ONE BE FOUND)i think i could follow....
Gest responded also. He took the page i gave a reference to and made an almost exact likeness..
If i could do that, that would be GREAT!
i am not a ''tecchie'.,however..and i cannot figure out.what in the world is GEST talking about ( i guess this post is addressed to 'whoever happens to read it')..Gest,Kari..um..i hate to be a pest, but
could you just direct me to a page of instructions somewhere..which explain how i take javascript and put it on an HTML page??
i think i could figure out how to 'beam it'..i think i have done that before..
i VERY MUCH APPRECIATE YOUR HELP ..kind and generous people!
it is too late to even contemplate 'thinking deep and profound thoughts'(what to speak of digital ones) at the moment, but i just wanted to respond and say,"thank you"..
then perhaps
tomorrow......
we'll see what unfolds.i probably will look in some archives and things..(when my mind is a bit more functional)(whenever that is)
cheers! and peaceful zzzzzzzzzzzzz's to y'all.
klutzyfingers
(thanky)

Here is the version of the cookied testbed notebook and wtv-zone login I use all the time.
Just beam it into your directory, rename it what YOU want and take off the top image (majorhead.com image)
and not only will you have your own in your but put it on an F-Key an it is a portable testbed - login - URL anywhere history holder.
Uses JavaScript. Safe too. :-)

dear GEST:(or anyone,i guess?)
read this post only if you feel up to a challenge..(see below)
i went ,just for fun,and tried to 'beam' the first clipoard thingy which you did a 'trial' with (http://www.wtv-zone.com/phyrst/temp/notebed.html)..to my wtv-zone account..
it 'beamed' ok,but did not hold in storage any of the little notes i wrote..
this post is only if you feel like a 'challenge'..
(some days ,people do not exacly feel like the challenge of 'instructing a dummie')(i understand..)
if you are "up for the above.challenge"..
my question:
,...i guess to save data,a person needs to attach a "cookie recognizer??" or
a 'storage modulator'..(i am ,needless to say, guessing here..)
QU:how to save data on clipboard for future viewing ??
now i am going to beam the other site which Gest offered..and i will see how that works out.
cheers?

Hey Thanky .. sorry I'm late, but I did finally find the one that Larry put together a while back.
I know you found one that you can use, but here's the url for anyone else who might be interested:

Kari
Well, Kari, let's just take Larry's old script, dress it up in GEST Home finery, validate it to HTML 4.01, and see how it flies? Any good? (http://www.wtv-zone.com/phyrst/sce/wp/notebeds.html)
