I don't know, man. Sounds like a hoax to me. MSN has always rolled out their upgrades starting on the West Coast, and moving to the East Coast. They do this first with Classic users, then the Plus crowd comes next. I've never heard of them ever offering ‘targeted selections’ to people for any reason at all. Time will tell. Keep us informed. But don't be surprised if it's untrue. Whenever MSN is concerned, my faith runs rather weak!

Upgrade huh.
Sounds to me like MSNTV (WEBTV) users better stock up on bug spray.
Now all kidding aside I hope the do give you guys a good upgrade.

This isn't a webtv upgrade, it's a computer upgrade. Knowing that aol has the 9.0 already, I guess that's the next upgrade.

Well Mitch good luck. Can't get MSN here. The only option we have is the local ISP and their service is lousy.

So they're going to still try to keep up with A-ow-L...and offer the internet their way...happily I only have another few months with them (plan that saved me money on original computer purchase) then I'll be totally cable and regretfully permanatly off web-tv. Trying to get a new web-tv compatible font repository up before then...busy busy busy. Good luck with it though...hopefully they'll offer you even better spam controls to stop the ton of spam that seems to come with them...(not that I'm implying they'd sell your addy to 3rd parties or anything...lol...)

They better not be selling my e-mail addy, I'll give them HELL if I have to. I do get a considerable amount of spam. I guess they'll be giving me another month free. Half the time my instant messenger doesn't work. I'm fixing to call them about that one. I don't know who's worse aol or msn!!

Hmm i agree Kajun msn service is starting to really stink. Yes i'm glad we have it cause it gets me on the net but anymore we can't get to alot of places. plus im sick of seeing the Page to big message. It used to be that i got that when i was on the net a long time and my cache filled up but not i'm starting to get it as soon as i log on. But in a couple of weeks I won't have to worry about that anymore cause we are going to a PC woooohoooo and getting rid of this orginal classic. We finally saved the money to get a pc. The biggest reason we are switching is mostly we as a family have just outgrown the thing and it's slow and limited access to places, the kids need the pc for school work now and we are just plain tired of the service msn has been giving us in the last 2 years. but anyway i still have to put up with it for another 2 to 4 weeks..hehehe then i have to learn all over again. but i don't mind
