Hiya Gnubee,
The "WWW" is actually a "Hard Link" that points to your public_html directory. It's not actually a directory. It's used by Apache to direct anyone who puts a www in front of your domain name to the correct location (The domains themselves don't need the www)

 Well, I really wish I had read these posts earlier. I did a big boo boo just now. I had done a clean install on my pc and was setting up my frontpage so I was republishing everything to xtreme, and my pc says www exists on server do you wish to remove it? So stupidly I hit yes thinking I don't know how I got that there. LOL So, now none of my pages are showing up on the web. LOL Live and learn. Good time to get everything just like I want it now. Sometimes I'm just my own worst enemy. LOL
I still love the new server. I just need to ask questions BEFORE I do stoooooopid things. LOL[SIZE=7]

Yes Doc, you're right. A hard lesson learned, but maybe my mistake will prevent someone else from doing it.
Anyways, it's given me reason to go thru all pages and make some changes I've been meaning to do.
Thanks for the tip.
